Fixed problem with long-term "freezing" of the user interface after moving a very large amount of files to another disk. Added a 32-bit version of DuplicateSearcherCore.exe for the .NET 5 platform (DuplicateSearcherCore.x86.exe), to run on 32-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 versions.

This is the portable version of Duplicate Files Search & Link - a program designed to help you locate and delete file duplicates, in order to clear some space on the hard drive. It can be handled by both first-time and skilled users.

Since installation is not required, you can store Duplicate Files Search & Link on a USB flash drive or similar external device, save it to any computer and directly run its executable file. What's more important is the fact that the Windows Registry is not updated with new entries, and no leftover files can be found on the hard drive after program removal.

The interface of the application is user-friendly. So, you can immediately start a search by establishing the target drive.

Experienced users are free to tinker with several configuration settings. For instance, you can include and exclude file types, set the minimum and maximum file size, look only for NTFS-links to the same files, as well as make the app ignore ID3 tags differences (in case of MP3s) and to skip symbolic links.

Once the scanning operation is done, you can view the original files and their duplicates grouped together, along with their location, size, date and number of fragments. Simply select which items you want to get rid off and let Duplicate Files Search & Link take care of the rest.
